Anthony Ashplant is correct. The picture is Archibald William Alexander, 17th Earl of Eglinton and 5th Earl of Winton.

Your picture is wrong. It is of the late earl’s father Archibald William Alexander Montgomerie, the 17th earl. The Herald newspaper made the same mistake. I am Chair of Kilwinning Heritage, the local history society in the town. Eglinton Castle the former ancestral seat of the Montgomeries of Eglinton is just outside the town, so we know all about them. I can send you a photo of the recently-late 18th earl if you like.
